CARTWRIGHT HALL

This drop in workshop was created in collaboration with Bradford Museum’s Young Curators. We responded to their brief of exploring migration in Bradford with a series of ideas which we pitched to the group. Following some conversations, we developed our workshop inspired by Osman Yousefzada’s Where it Began exhibition, and a dastarkhan held in their collection.

Drop-in audiences could create wrapped dumplings and were invited to reflect on what is precious in their lives as they made these parcels. They were also invited to contribute to a group artwork painted with food-based paints using beetroot, turmeric, charcoal pigments.
